The Story black I handmake here in Denmark, using the traditional saddle stitch—a technique chosen not just for its strength, but because it honors the process. The leather is Italian, vegetable-tanned, and dyed a deep black that only becomes more beautiful as it softens and ages.

The bamboo handles add a quiet contrast, natural and stylish. Inside, you’ll find two canvas lined pockets to hold your essentials—little things you reach for again and again...

STORY BLACK

THE PROCESS of working with leather—cutting it, shaping it, and carefully hand-stitching it using the old-fashioned saddle stitch technique—is something I find incredibly rewarding. Often, a new design starts with a spark: an idea, a feeling, or something I see that really inspires me.

More often than not, the design changes as I go. I play around with different sizes, shapes, and colors. What always fascinates me is how a tiny adjustment—a slight curve here, a shift in proportion there—can completely change how a bag feels and looks.

Then, at some point, the right design just... happens. Everything clicks into place. And there’s this quiet sense of satisfaction that’s hard to put into words. It’s not just about the bags—it’s the same with lamps or anything else I make. When a shape feels balanced and just right, it stops being about the object itself. It becomes about creating something that feels right. And that’s where the real joy is for me.

This version combines deep black Italian leather with natural canvas side panels and lining. I love the contrast—there’s something really beautiful about how the clean, smooth leather meets the textured softness of the canvas. It gives the bag a quiet confidence. Nothing loud, just honest materials working together.

The leather is vegetable-tanned and will age with you—softening, deepening, picking up the marks of daily life in a way that tells your story. I stitch everything using the traditional saddle stitch, one thread and one needle at a time. It takes longer, but it lasts...

CANVAS

This classic briefcase I handmade from premium Italian vegetable-tanned leather. The leather is hand-dyed to give a classic, and timeless appearance. It features a solid brass lock with key, adding a touch of sophistication and durability.

Designed and crafted in Denmark, this briefcase offers enough space for a laptop and folders, making it both functional and stylish. The shoulder strap is decorated with a broque pattern. The sturdy construction ensures long-lasting use, and with age, it will only become more beautiful, developing a distinct character that reflects your unique journey.

THIS IS A NEW DESIGN where I’ve combined natural vegetable-tanned leather with canvas and bamboo handles. I’m really happy with how it turned out—it feels beautiful and classic, which is always something I love. Over time, the leather will develop a rich patina, making it look even more stunning.

Whenever I create a new design, I like to put it to the test to see how it truly holds up in daily life. So I’ve given this bag to someone special, and it’s now being used every day. I want to see how the leather wears, how the canvas handles the cold, wet Danish weather, and whether all the little details work as intended.

Sometimes, it’s the unexpected little things that reveal themselves through use. '

This process is my way of making sure the bag works—really works—for you. And that I can feel proud and confident about what I’ve created.
